Job Search - Interview

Searching for a job is not that difficult, but to pass the interview is the major task. What most organizations do is setup several kinds of interviews, in order to check whether you are worthy for the job or not. The interviewees has to go through different kinds of interviews to get a job, such as technical interview in which technical questions are asked to see how much you know your work, then there are interviews that determine what sort of a person you are, where a panel of interviewers check what sort of personality you possess and if you manage to pass the above two then comes a very general interview where questions regarding your personal life such as family, educational background etc are asked.

A successful interviewee is one who has a decent sense of clothing, must arrive at least ten minutes before time. If you are punctual and have a good sense of clothing then the next major thing is your confidence. What most interviewers are looking for is a determined confident person who is not afraid of simple things in life and can work under pressure. Your answers should be concise and to the point, no one is interested in your long stories. Sometimes they may ask you general questions like tell me your five weaknesses and five strengths, or sometimes the interviewer’s check interviewee’s decision making capabilities by providing him with a scenario which needs to be solved right there and then. Be careful when you mention your weaknesses; try to say things that may not seem like a weakness at all.

Remember if you are capable of doing a job then you are capable of understanding that in order to be successful worker you must be highly professional at what you do. There is no room for mistakes, you maybe highly qualified but if you are unable to sell yourself in front of the audience then you are of no use to anyone.
